Museum of Byzantine Culture

Eleven galleries that present aspects of the Byzantine and post-Byzantine culture compose the Museum’s permanent exhibition. They are organized by general themes and according to the established periods of Byzantine and post-Byzantine art and history.

With your private guide, you can explore the Museum at your own pace discovering the cultural excellence of this little-known Empire.

Coffee

12:30 – 13:00

It is just a short walk from the Museum to the White Tour, and with a short detour, you can enjoy the promenade or a cup of coffee/tea

The White Tower

13:00 – 14:00

Forty windows shed light on the interior of Thessaloniki’s landmark and the history of Thessaloniki.

Walking up the six floors, you will discover exciting information about the city’s life from its foundation to today, and arriving at the balcony, you will enjoy exceptional views of the city and Mt. Olympus
